Ms. Reina prides herself on embodying responsibility, dedication, and creativity that she seamlessly imparts to her students through the sharing of her vast knowledge and experiences. With a gift for instructing individuals of diverse backgrounds, ages, and level, Reina is adept at tailoring her training approach to meet the unique needs of each of her students. Her commitment to continuous growth is evident, as she remains open to the endless possibilities of learning and self-improvement.

Ms. Reina’s academic training includes a Masters in Training of the Arts, with an emphasis on teaching theater, a Bachelors of Physical Culture and Sports in Rhythmic and Artistic Gymnastics, a Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts with a specialization is acting, postgraduate courses on rhythmic gymnastics injuries, sports detraining, body expression, and a postgraduate degree in music therapy and rehabilitation. She has also completed an International Olympic Solidarity Course, and is a National Rhythmic Gymnastics judge.

Reina’s professional experience includes gymnastics coach at Gymnastics School of Rhythm of Lloret de Mar in Spain, Blanec Rhythmic Gymnastics in Blanes, and a maintenance gymnastics instructor for seniors teaching various therapies such as yoga, dance, body expression, and tai chi. She has also taught body expression and acrobatics for actors at the University of the Arts in Havana, Cuba. She was a children’s rhythmic gymnastics coach from 1991-1997 before coaching the Rhythmic Gymnastics Cuban National Team from 1997-2002, and again from 2009-2015. From there, she went on to coach the National Youth Team of the Manabí Sports Federation in Ecuador from 2003-2008. Ms. Reina brings a lifetime of dedication and knowledge to her students at Jordance Studios, and we are so fortunate to have her as an integral part of our team!
