Adult Ballet Classes in Las Vegas

Whether you’re stepping into a ballet studio for the very first time or returning to refine your technique, our Adult Ballet program offers a welcoming and supportive environment for dancers of all experience levels. With both Beginner and Intermediate classes available, students develop strength, flexibility, balance, posture, coordination, and confidence through structured classical ballet training. Our classes emphasize proper technique while encouraging artistry, musicality, and personal growth at every stage of the journey.

Taught by experienced instructors, each class is designed to challenge students at their individual level while fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. For those looking to take their training beyond the classroom, adult dancers also have the opportunity to perform in our annual Spring Showcase and other studio productions throughout the year.

Whether your goal is to improve your technique, cross-train for another dance style, stay active, or simply enjoy the beauty of ballet, you’ll find a community that is passionate about helping you grow both as a dancer and as an individual.

Adult Ballet 1 - Beginner Floor Barre

Taught by Ms. Adarys

PREREQUISITES:

  • No Experience Required

Designed specifically for absolute beginners, this class is the perfect introduction to ballet. Students begin with floor barre, a method that teaches proper alignment, body awareness, posture, turnout, and core engagement without the added challenge of balancing at the barre. Starting on the floor allows dancers to build strength and understand correct technique from the very beginning, creating a safe and confident foundation before progressing to standing ballet work. Whether you’ve always wanted to try ballet or are returning after many years, this welcoming class is the perfect place to start.

Adult Ballet 1.5 - Beginner Barre

Taught by Ms. Adarys

Once students have developed a solid foundation, they progress to Level 1.5, where training transitions from floor barre to the ballet barre. Dancers continue refining classical technique while building strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, and musicality through traditional barre exercises and introductory center work. This class bridges the gap between beginner and intermediate levels, helping students gain confidence while continuing to develop proper ballet fundamentals in a supportive environment.

Adult Ballet 2 - Intermediate

Taught by Mrs. Flavia

PREREQUISITES:

  • Instructor Approval Required by Invite Only

Adult Ballet Level 2 is designed for dancers with a strong understanding of classical ballet technique. This class expands upon the fundamentals with more complex barre exercises, center combinations, adagio, turns, jumps, and increased artistry and musicality. Students are challenged to refine their technique, improve strength and precision, and deepen their understanding of ballet in a focused yet encouraging environment. Placement in this class is by instructor approval to ensure each dancer is prepared for the pace and technical expectations of the curriculum.

What to Expect

Expect a welcoming and structured environment! You’ll learn the fundamentals of ballet through barre or floor barre exercises, center work, and across-the-floor combinations. Our instructors break down each exercise so you can build confidence, technique, and strength at your own pace.

No problem! Our Beginner Ballet classes are designed for adults with little or no experience. Everyone starts somewhere, and our goal is to help you learn in a supportive, judgment-free environment.

For your first class, wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Ballet slippers are recommended, but socks are fine for your first class. Hair should be secured away from your face, and a water bottle is always a good idea. Once you enroll, students are required to wear proper ballet attire: a leotard, tights, ballet slippers, and hair neatly secured in a ballet bun. Ballet skirts are optional. This dress code allows the instructor to clearly see your alignment and body mechanics, making it easier to provide corrections and help you develop proper technique safely and effectively.

Absolutely! Ballet develops posture, balance, coordination, body awareness, flexibility, and control. These are all skills that transfer directly to Latin dance and many other styles. Many of our adult students notice improvements in their movement quality both in and out of the studio.
