Jay Jerez grew up immersed in Latin music and discovered bachata social dancing at fifteen in Nicaragua. After years of social dancing, including while serving in the Air Force, he began formal training at Jordance Studios in 2023. Mentored by Jimi and Paula, he joined the Jorvibe salsa team and now teaches salsa and bachata.
Jay helps students enjoy the social connection while mastering technique. He’s passionate about welcoming new dancers, representing his Latino roots, and growing the Vegas dance scene. Alongside teaching, he DJs local salsa and bachata events and supports Jordance’s social media.
