María Fernanda Aggi Villa started her dance journey in Veracruz, Mexico at the age of 3. She started with Folkloric Skirt Dancing and continued to learn ballet, jazz and other genres. At the age of 6 Maria moved to Las Vegas, NV and started training at SMASH Dance Studio. Maria started re-training in Ballet as well as learning new genres. Contemporary, Modern, Tap, Lyrical and Salsa. During this time Maria’s instructors noticed she really took to salsa and decided to move her up to the Advanced Adult classes. Under the guidance of Amaris Fuller and Randy Vargas, Maria’s love and admiration for salsa grew. She started to travel to different salsa congresses/festivals to perform and train. In 2017 Maria began training with Paula and Jimi Jordan. After 5 years of training Maria has grown into her own style and is now teaching her own class at Jordance Studio alongside her dance partner Jose Juarez. She takes inspiration from her peers, instructors and students. She doesn’t see herself stopping and wants to continue to share her love of dance with everyone.
